How We offer a smooth service
The most important first step in a CCW application which everyone overlooks is making sure you know your past. In other words, if your CCW application is missing any conviction or details from your livescan results, or even if they’re incorrectly written, chances are you will get denied!
That is why having a lawyer help you along the way will minimize the risk of errors and assure that you are not “hiding” anything from your law enforcement agency!
Step 1
With two of the packages we offer, we will first help complete your livescan form and give you instructions on getting fingerprinted. Once submitted, you will normally receive your livescan results in the mail within 2 to 3 weeks.
Step 2
Upon receiving your livescan results, you will be required to upload your livescan results to your personalized portal on our website.
Step 3
Our in-house attorney will review your livescan results within 2 to 4 business days against any of the California DOJ’s 5-year, 10-year, and lifetime prohibition statutes to see if there are any red flags. Because if you cannot own a firearm, you will not qualify for a CCW!
Final Step
If, however, your livescan results do not raise any red flags and we deem you a good candidate for a CCW, we will notify you that you are a likely candidate to receive a CCW and proceed to your application!
